I will post the tennis picks I get from LinesBreaker.com. They are really very good, and when I get descriptions along with the picks, I will post those as well. For today we have:
1. Montanes to beat Del Potro 7 units<o></o>
Montanes is known to be very erratic. He has shown many times in the past that he can perform when you least expect him to. A good example is last year when he was in a similar situation as today, when he had lost his previous three matches before entering this event but then made it to the final here. The same could well happen against this year. He has a solid record here, winning 9 of his last 13 matches here. I am actually quite surprised to see his odds so high against Del Potro who is yet a very promising player but still have a lot to prove on the pro tour. Pick Montanes.
2. Bohmova to beat Asagoe 5 units<o></o>
Wild card Bohmova obviously comes as the underdog into this match, considering almost 100 ranks separate both players. Bohmova has not been playing well recently but so as Asagoe. However this match is played on clay, a surface very much suited to Bohmova and we can expect the worse for Asagoe based on her slumping form and her hate of clay courts. Bohmova should most definitely have a chance today. At least she comes with some clay court match practice, having played last week in <st1:city><st1lace>Bogota</st1lace></st1:city> while Asagoe recorded another loss two weeks ago on her favourite surface (hard courts) in <st1lace>Asia</st1lace>. Bohmova will turn 20 later this month. After being ranked in the top 10 at junior level, she is yet to prove her status of threatening young player on the pro tour but the left hander is slowly showing a encouraging pedigree. She has won challenger events on clay and already beaten some top 100 players. The odds are worth a take. Pick Bohmova.
3. 6 Unit Parlay
Groenefeld to beat Brandi<o></o>
Highly talented Groenefeld from <st1:country-region><st1lace>Germany</st1lace></st1:country-region> should be thrilled to find clay again after a disappointing run lately on hard courts and indoors. After all clay remains her favourite surface. Playing on clay should give Groenefeld a new boost and a way to finally end her series of losses. She is playing against Brandi who is very much a clay court inept. She is usually tends to avoid playing on dirt as much as possible. She is usually performs well in the events she recently entered but this year it was not the case so it does not look very promising before playing Groenefeld on this type of court. Pick a rejuvenated Groenefeld. <o></o>
Mattek to beat Gagliardi<o></o>
Mattek is one of the most promising US players at the moment. She is capable of playing on all surfaces and very powerful from the baseline. After her solid performance last week on clay in <st1:city><st1lace>Bogota</st1lace></st1:city> it is difficult not to go for her. She beat two excellent clay courters last week while Gagliardi is still looking for her first win in her last 5 consecutive matches. She got demolished by virtually unknown Gussoni last week in <st1:city><st1lace>Bogota</st1lace></st1:city> after making the quarters there last year. The Swiss player has neved managed to make it passed the second round here in her last 5 appearances. If Mattek can maintain her standard of play from last week, she should come through. Pick Mattek.
